| Further notes |
| The is a German kiosk TelH90S in Rawtenstall. This particular kiosk was a 1994 gift to the people of Rossendale from Bocholt, the town’s German twin town. The kiosk is a 1994 model and is believed not to have seen operational use before being gifted. Fibre company Eurobell, an American cable company, deployed white/yellow TelH90S kiosks in and around the Croydon and Crawley areas in the mid-1990s. Eurobell was later sold to Telewest, following a consolidation in the fibre industry. A telephone kiosk seems a strange gift to give to a town, but it is nice they did and it is readily accessible. It can be found in Whitaker Park, at the W3W link below. Pictures taken 28/09/24 Exeter kiosks were the TelH90Sm. Pictures and content- thanks to Andrew Hurst. |
