Western Electric 236G Payphone

The Western Electric 236G is a three-slot, ten-cent prepay payphone developed from the 233G. It incorporated anti-theft improvements including a barrel security lock and internal cinch plug connections. Later versions eliminated the need for an external subset, retaining central-office control and electro-mechanical coin relay operation.
