US-WE-17 7-type booth (3 DOOR

Western Electric Type 17 (3-door) booths were introduced around 1950 as part of Bell System standard enclosure types. Manufactured by Western Electric, they were free-standing timber booths with multi-side access. Designed for indoor public locations, they accommodated standard payphones within system-controlled, factory-specified booth formats.
