Swedish Payphones

Sweden became an important centre of payphone development through Ericsson, which produced reliable coin-operated telephones for the national network. Swedish designs and technology also found a substantial export market, with Ericsson and other Swedish-developed payphone systems supplied or adapted for telephone networks across Europe and many other parts of the world.
