Danish Payphones
Danish payphone history was shaped by regional exchange. The Landis & Gyr mønttelefon reflected coin-operated technology also familiar in Sweden, whose telecommunications designs influenced neighbouring Scandinavian networks. Denmark’s GNT became especially important, producing numerous multi-coin models and exporting widely to Norway, Greece and other international markets across Europe and beyond.
