Development of the Teléfono público INFOPYME-puerta-ov
There is surprisingly little published information specifically about the Infopyme “Puerta OV” model. It appears to have been one of Infopyme’s outdoor vandal-resistant public telephones designed for installation inside Spain’s glass-and-aluminium street booths (“cabinas telefónicas”), particularly during the late Telefónica public-payphone era. Infopyme lists the Puerta OV as one of its principal payphone products alongside the TM, TMI, TPI2, Condor and Decor ranges.
The Puerta OV seems to belong to the generation that followed the Amper and Siemens public-telephone systems used by Telefónica, and may have shared components with Infopyme’s TM/TMI family. However, detailed technical specifications, launch dates and production history remain difficult to find in publicly available sources.
