Greek aluminium and glass telephone booths shared the clean lines, extensive glazing and lightweight frames seen in American booths of the mid twentieth century. This suggests a broader international design influence, but visual resemblance alone cannot establish direct borrowing. No evidence yet identifies a US designer, manufacturer or licence behind the Greek booths.
